Located on the boundaries of Ekali and Anixi, this 330 m² single house was built on a 600 m² block of land. It has two floors: the ground floor which accommodates the reception hall, dining room, kitchen with an ancillary space, bathroom and WC and the first floor accommodating 3 master bedrooms and wardrobes. There is also a basement, which is used as an ancillary area. The design endeavoured to fit the new building into the area surrounding the lot and thus a number of open and semi-open areas were created to be used during the day. The L-shaped single house consists of two main enclosures. These enclosures (shells) are covered by a roof with four sloping sides. The entire design of the shell is organised around a pool, which is surrounded by paved surfaces. A hipped roof with brownish roofing tiles, oak frames, a wooden pergola on the balcony, ochre-coated surfaces and white cornices, and a stone-tiled yard wall are all elements seen in traditional buildings and are rendered here in their most simple and modern version.
